For about 30 minutes yesterday my wedding dress was in my possession!

dress fittingThe first fitting of my wedding dress was last night, and I ended up not having it altered at the store where I purchased the dress.  Because I was having it altered in a different location, I had to pick the dress up and transport it from point A to point B.  Very precious cargo!

The fitting went great!  I knew that I would need some alterations in the bust and rib area, but I was also expecting to get the dress hemmed.  Typically, the hem is the expensive part of the alterations, but I lucked out and did not need to get the dress hemmed!

I then came home to a package of wedding veil color samples.  I was very excited about this, as I want to make sure that my veil matches my dress, but I honestly could not tell a difference between ANY of the veil colors!

I have honestly been in a bit of a wedding time warp all week!

This past weekend, I received a package containing several items displaying our wedding logo.

wedding flip flopsMom tied all of the flip flops together for me, and I simply stuck the logo for our wedding on the heel of the shoe.  So simple, and if you ask me so cute!

This weekend will definitely contain more wedding plans 🙂  So much to do, and I love every bit of it!

I hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!
