After all of our fun pictures and formal family photos were complete, it was finally time to prepare for the ceremony.

We anxiously waited for all of the guests to arrive in a small holding area in the foyer of the church.  We tried to stay preoccupied by taking pictures and chatting before the ceremony…even still this wait seemed to take forever!

wedding ceremonyEvery detail was in place, and the pews were ready to be filled to have our closest friends and family witness our marriage.  It was such a surreal feeling to know that the day and moment I had been waiting so long for was here!

wedding ceremonyNext, my mom and brother headed down the aisle.  I absolutely love this picture.  My family is very emotional, and I know that my mom and brother were both fighting back happy tears.  Such a special moment caught on camera.

wedding ceremonyThis is another favorite photo of Brian and mine.  Our mom’s look so gorgeous!

wedding ceremonyNext, our friend Les started the bridal party processional with a melody on his bagpipes.

wedding ceremonyI love this photo of Brian and Deacon Ben.  Deacon Ben is actually Brian’s age, and they went to school together all throughout their childhood.  It was such a special treat to have him perform our marriage ceremony.

wedding ceremonyOther than our first look, this was the only moment where I was actually nervous.

I was happy to have my veil covering my face to hide some of the tears that were beginning to form.  It was hard for me to walk down the aisle, but as soon as I was with Brian a feeling of relief, happiness, and contentment came over me and all of my fears were gone.

wedding ceremonyWe absolutely loved our ceremony.

I loved hearing our friends and family sing and read aloud.  I loved the homily that Deacon Ben gave.  There was such a sense of happiness and love everywhere.  The ceremony was absolutely perfect and everything I hoped it would be.

wedding ceremonyIn what seemed to be the blink of an eye, the ceremony was over and it was time for me to kiss my new husband!

“I now pronounce to you the new Mr. and Mrs. Rochford!”

wedding ceremonySuch a happy moment!
