This weekend was full of love, family, and friends AND I managed to take a few snapshots so I could share some of my weekend with you!

Friday night, Brian and I headed out to see the movie About Time right after work so I whipped up some smoothies for dinner that we sipped in the car on the way to the show.

Saturday, Brian and I drove up to my parent’s house and spent the evening with my mom.  She made a delicious batch of homemade clam chowder for dinner.  It completely hit the spot!

I made an experimental batch of pumpkin bread with a super secret ingredient 😉

While I was in baking mode, I also tested a batch of honey whole wheat cloverleaf rolls for Thanksgiving dinner.  I used this recipe and they turned out AMAZING!!! Even on day two they taste great, just pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds to soften and they are just as good as fresh out of the oven.  Yum!

Staying strong with my November Breakfast Challenge, I had a bowl of yogurt topped with nuts and dried fruit, an apple, and peanut butter.

Sunday afternoon I attended my very first baby shower for Chelsea!  Chelsea was a bridesmaid in my wedding back in July, and she has been a lifelong friend. I can’t believe she will have a little baby in just about a month! So exciting 🙂

The shower was adorable and there were baby themed games…none of which I was even remotely close at winning 😉  Still fun though!

There ya have it!

  1. Hello all, here every person is sharing these kinds of
knowledge, therefore it’s pleasant to read this blog, and I used to go to see this website daily.

  2. Love that idea for the november breakfast challenge will have to add it to my list.

I’ve never tried Clam Chowder but that one in the picture looks delicious.

On the weekend I had a wedding to go to with my boyfriend and we danced the night away it was lots of fun.

  3. The rolls look delicious. It’s a very good idea to have a test run with foods that you will be making for the holidays- I usually just wing it, but I did have quite a disaster with a dessert one time so I might have to try your approach!

    • Well, I winged it last year but they literally turned out like ROCKS!!! I thought I should test them out and I am glad I did!
