Good morning, friends!

As I blog, I am sitting on my couch in silence truly enjoying the morning.

I honestly don’t remember the last time I was able to do this, seeing that most mornings Brian and I head to the gym first thing and the day is go-go-go from there.

It feels so nice to relax today 🙂

Yesterday, after our morning workout, Brian and I headed to the airport to pick up his family.

Brian

Originally, it was just going to be me picking up the Rochford clan, but Brian sneakily took the day off and surprised his family by being at the airport too!

After arriving at our apartment, unpacking a bit and getting settled, we headed to a favorite morning spot….Thump!

We each enjoyed our delicious coffee and just chatted.  Such a nice way to start the holiday vacation!

Brian then took the family downtown while I worked for a bit.  When I got home, I thawed out some soups that I had made previously as a recipe test for that cook book, pulled out a big salad (I really tried to make all the food for this week ahead of time!), some corn muffins, and a little dessert.

Thanksgiving

It was such a wonderful night of food, friends, family, and a GREAT way to kick of Thanksgiving week 🙂

Pumpkin bars and buckeyes for dessert.  AND Marisa brought over some (unpictured) pecan pie balls! So good!

Today, we will be checking out Boulder and I have my first performance tonight.  Wish me luck!

I hope you all have a wonderful day before Thanksgiving!! 🙂
