Now, onto regular business….

Yesterday, Brian’s brother, Adam, came home from his internship in Dhaka, Bangaladesh with BRAC.  You can read more about his experience here!

We spent the evening asking him questions about his trip and looking at all of the foreign goodies that he brought home with him.

He rode to work in one of these little rickshaws every single day!!!

It is great to have him back home!

Another Foreign Treat

After Adam was done showing us all of his souvenirs, I had another goody from a foreign land to open up.

Jessie, from Jessie Loves to Run, read on the blog that I loved Weetabix when I was in London and was shocked to see them when my family was in Florida.  I didn’t think that they made them in the states!

Jessie is currently living in Kuwait, and almost immediately messaged me saying that she sees them in the stores there all the time and would be happy to pick a box up for me.  How awesome is that!?  Of course I took her up on the offer, and the package finally arrived yesterday 🙂  You better believe that I had a “biscuit” of Weetabix with a little almond milk as my pre-workout fuel.  Just as delicious as I remembered.

She also sent me some tasty looking Weetabix Oaty Bars.  I have never tried these before, but they look pretty darn good.

Thanks so much Jessie!  It is such a treat to have my Weetabix again.

I think the part that I love about the Weetabix is that it gets so soggy when you pour milk over it…kind of like overnight oats. Yum! Also, those little squares are pretty darn filling.

What is your favorite breakfast cereal?   I usually don’t eat cereal other than the occasional granola or oatmeal (almost every day…), but as far as cereal cereals go I choose Weetabix!

Do you like your cereal crunchy or soggy?Soggy!  When I was younger and would eat cereal more regularly, I would pour milk over the cereal and stick it in the freezer for about 5 minutes so the cereal would get soggy and the milk would get super duper cold 🙂  Yeah…I’m strange.
