Happy Friday!

I missed you guys yesterday!  I got home from work late on Wednesday and team taught an early morning Bodypump class yesterday, so there wasn’t much time for blogging in there.  My sister’s birthday is tomorrow and Brian and I are hosting a little shindig at our place for her and some of her friends.  I can’t wait!

Here’s to another Five Things Friday hosted by the fabulous Clare from Fitting It All In.

Five Things I Ate:

  • Homemade cashew butter on top of my morning fruit bowl….seriously guys that stuff tastes like cake batter/icing but there is not sugar in it whatsoever…it’s good!

  • A delicious salad from Patachou!  This is the second time I went out to eat on the Whole 30, and I didn’t feel like I was sacrificing a thing 🙂  I ordered the Green Goddess salad minus the bacon, chicken, and dressing and simply topped the salad with a little salt, pepper, and vinegar.  The salad was full of greens, hardboiled egg, avocado, tomato, and apple…definitely delicious and something I can make at home…yum!

Five Things Making Me Happy:

  • Ambre Blends Essential Oils

Ambre Blends is a locally owned company in Indianapolis.  This oil is organic and completely plant-based, and smells absolutely amazing!  The scent is clean, fresh, and after you start wearing it a while it starts to linger with you always because it is an essential oil…seriously it smells so good!

The recently reached out to me for a product review and to create a recipe for them.  I have not tried it yet, but I cannot wait!  The only ingredient is coconut water 🙂

  • Being almost done with the Whole 30.  I do plan on integrating potential food allergens through a 10 day process (more on that later!) but I can’t wait until AFTER that so I can try products like these yummy protein pancakes from Flapjacked!
