On Friday, I mentioned that Brian and I were doing something SUPER exciting this weekend…
We became proud parents to this adorable puppy 🙂 Bernie!
Saturday morning, right after breakfast Brian and I headed out to Colorado Springs to pick up our very own little Vizsla puppy.
We packed blankets, a towel, cleaning wipes, toys, treats, water, anything we could think of!
So excited to bring home our puppy!
After we got hime home, most of our weekend was spent playing, training, and taking care of this little guy.
He sure is squirmy!
But oh so adorable 🙂
We were even able to take him out for a couple of walks!
We are sooo happy and so in love with him 🙂
Here is a little fun fact…our breeder was telling us about Bernie’s family history and one of his great grandfather’s was owned by Heidi Klum and Seal!! How cool is that?!
We are having a lot of fun “getting to know him” and sharing him with others. We can’t wait to see what this little guy has in store for us.

Congrats! Dogs bring so much joy to your life!! He’s adorable!! My #1 tip would be to train him really well while he’s young because if you wait too long they get stuck in their ways and it’s really hard to change it! Enjoy him!

I need to tell you something about those boots Bernie is wearing, I got them for my puppy and he chewed on two of them and had stomach problems for a couple of days! So just watch Bernie! I’m sure he’s gonna be such a great boy for you and Brian! Enjoy and post many pictures of him please! 🙂

Oh my goodness what a cutie! As a new puppy owner, I’m going to go ahead and tell you that you’re going to have so much fun and also many frustrations 🙂 Whatever you do, try not to get mad–pups respond much better to positive reinforcement (i.e. lots of treats!). Whatever you do, take a lotttt of pictures–Layla was 8 lbs when we got her in November and now she’s 26 lbs. They grow so fast!
