While I won’t be trick-or-treating this year, I will be celebrating and spending time with friends and (BONUS!) Brian’s parents will be visiting.
Not too long ago, my friends over at Love Grown Foods sent me their first-ever limited edition Halloween Cereal, Bats and Boos!
This cereal is wheat-free, corn free and totally delicious. Seriously.
Because Brian and I aren’t really cereal eaters, I thought I would put the tasty sweet cereal to use in a yummy TREAT recipe inspired by the classic rice krispy treat. (Because we are treat eaters!)
These cereal treats are so sweet and crisp and kid and husband approved 😉
Instead of using marshmallow and butter to hold the cereal together, I used brown rice syrup, coconut oil and almond butter making these delish treats a healthier alternative, free of refined sugar, and vegan-friendly 🙂

Aren’t they adorable!?
Yum!! These cereal bites look delish! I love rice krispies but definitely not there unhealthy ingredients – these seem like a great alternative.
And thanks for including the Candy Corn Smoothies 🙂
Thanks, Whitney!! 🙂 Those candy corn smoothies were too cute not to share!
That cereal is too cute! I’ll have to find some of that near me. PS- loooooving my tribewheel bracelet 🙂 Thanks again!

It’s tasty too!
You had me at Bats and Boos. I may have to try these. It has been so hard at work with people bringing in candy over the past 2 weeks (and with me having little self control).
You would love them!
Freaking love your idea. So creative and yummy!!
