While there are so many AMAZING things to do around the city of Denver like hiking in Boulder or the Rocky Mountain National Park, skiing at any of the amazing resorts, or really doing anything outdoorsy it’s really easy to forget about all of the wonderful things that there are to do right in the city of Denver.
And when Gordmans asked me to share a post about how I support the Colorado Rockies, I immediately thought of all the things I LOVE to do in the spring and summer months right here in Denver (including hitting up a baseball game!) Denver is an awesome city, and I love showing it off.
When thinking about how I spend an ideal day right in Denver, it almost always starts with a long walk or a jog through one of the beautiful parks.
Some of my favorites are Cheesman Park and Washington Park. There are always tons of other dog owners and walkers, joggers, walkers, and people just hanging out. I love the buzz of everyone being out and about!
Either in the middle of the walk or at the end of our walk/jog (definitely at the end if I’m jogging!) I love stopping at either Thump or Aviano for the best almond milk latte.
Both locations have outdoor seating, which is perfect if you have your pups!
After enjoying this walk or run, I usually come home to grab lunch or breakfast depending on the time and get ready for the day.
If I’m craving a little something sweet in the afternoon, we’ll hit up a local ice cream shop! (Many of them have sorbet or vegan options for my dairy-free friends!)
Some of my favorite spots to grab an ice cream treat are Liks (pictured above!), Sweet Action, and Bonnie Brae’s Ice Cream.
The perfect way to spend a spring or summer evening is at Coors Stadium at a Rockies game.
I am so thankful that Gordmans has affordable and adorable MLB gear. I’m so ready for this year’s season to begin!
The atmosphere of being at a baseball game in the warm weather just makes me SO happy! And the view of the sunsetting behind the mountains isn’t too shabby either.
I had so much fun visiting some of my favorite spots around Denver, and it made me thankful to live in such a cool city. And having some adorable Colorado Rockies gear, icing on the cake! If you are looking for cute MLB gear, look no further.

When spring finally rolls around, I start spending 50% of my time at Coors Field. It’s my second home 🙂
So fun!! 🙂
Great post! I absolutely loved Denver when I visited two years ago and need to get back ASAP 🙂
