Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal with Egg

Cinnamon Banana Oatmeal with Egg are an amped up version of creamy oats that can quickly be made in the morning. The eggs add nutrition, fat and protein to make traditional oatmeal a little more filling.



2 cups water

1 cup oatmeal (quick oats or rolled oats)

1 banana, smashed

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 Tablespoon chia seeds

1 Tablespoon hemp seeds

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings of choice: berries, peanut butter, almond butter, banana


In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Once the water is boiling, add in the oats, banana, egg, hemp seeds, and chia seeds. Stir to combine until it is thick and creamy.

Remove the oatmeal from the heat and mix in the cinnamon and the vanilla extract.

Top with desired toppings and enjoy!
