Description
I changed up the usual red salsa for a combination of sweet, savory, and green with kiwi. This fresh and vibrant dish has lots of flavor, is not too spicy and is perfect for sharing with a crowd.
Ingredients
5 kiwi, peeled and diced
2 scallions, chopped
¼ cup red onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped
½ cup green tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons canola oil
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients (kiwi, scallions, red onion, garlic, jalapeno, bell pepper, tomato, canola oil and kosher salt). Stir to combine and adjust seasoning to taste.
- This would taste great with any taco dish or over your favorite protein.
