ALL of her recipes look absolutely fabulous (you can see some pics and recipe ideas on her blog!) so you can imagine how hard it was for me to decide.
Ultimately, Brian decided on the Nutella Oreo Chocolate Cookies because honestly, we both knew he would be eating more of these treats.
They are as delicious, decadent, and chocolatey as they sound…mmmm!!
I must say, with all of the desserts I have been making, Brian has thoroughly enjoyed this little cookbook challenge I created 🙂
In other exciting news, when I got home yesterday I had an exciting package waiting for me at the door step:
A package full of Lindsay Cotter’s Healthy Bites!!!
I ordered the variety pack because I am indecisive and it is my first time…so I wanted to try a lot of different flavors.
My package included Cookie Dough/ Mint Chocolate Chip which tasted just like a thin mint girl scout cookie.
Lindsay calls these her “goodie bites” BUT with a healthy twist. They taste naughty, but they are niiiice!
Apricot Cinnamon, which was almost like a snickerdoodle.
Lindsay recommends these bites for pre-workout energy to get extra carbohydrates that are needed for energy.
AND Muddy Buddy Mocha which tasted like a chocolate covered espresso bean.
Lindsay recommends these as a great post workout snack too!
I thought they were all fabulous, and I honestly cannot pick a favorite but Brian’s favorite was the Muddy Buddy Mocha.
Each bite has about 50-80 calories and is full of high quality nutrient-dense ingredients. You can read all about what makes these bites “healthy” HERE.
If you have been thinking about purchasing these bites, if you are looking for a quick and easy snack pre-workout, post-workout, or just any time of the day then order these bites…they are delicious and nutritious!
