The weather has been absolutely gorgeous over here in Indianapolis.  Even though I am loving my job, it is making being indoors the majority of the day very difficult.

Yesterday, I was able to break up the day by heading to the City Market Farmer’s Market.

farmer's market

Although I work downtown and the Farmer’s Market is downtown, it was still a bit of a walk at a very quick pace.  I arrived with just enough time to scope out the booths to see what I would want to purchase next time I visit and find a place to sit and eat my lunch.

There was a nice, little shaded bench just calling my name 🙂

I really enjoyed being outside and in such a fun atmosphere during my lunch break.  I will definitely be making my way to the market again soon!!  Hopefully next time, I will purchase some veggies and flowers.

Smoothie Dinner

After work I scrambled around the kitchen to quickly throw together a deliciously tasty smoothie for dinner.

This smoothie contained:

  • 2/3 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup strawberry
  • 1/3 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop peanut butter cup protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

I topped my dinner treat with peanut butter and ran out the door to my final wedding dress fitting.

smoothieThe good new is…the dress fits!  After a couple of rounds of taking things in, it fits like a glove and I cannot wait to wear it and show Brian this secret dress that I have been hiding for so long!!

Hope you are all having a great week.  The weekend is almost here!

  1. On Thursdays, the Statehouse has food truck and farmer’s market day behind the Statehouse. Vendors and food trucks line up at 10:30am and leave at 1:30. It’s really fun! Have you been?

    • I have never been to that but it sounds so fun! I will have to walk over one of these Thursdays 🙂
