Last night, we had a farewell dinner with Brian’s family because today his brother is leaving to start his internship in Bangladesh…yes Bangladesh!! He will be working for Brac, which is one of the largest NGOs (non-government organizations), for the next three months.  What an exciting adventure to embark on!  He will be documenting his trip on his blog The Dhaka Connection.  I can’t wait to see what he experiences.

In celebration of him heading on this adventure, we had pizza, salad, and cake for dinner.

Loaded with veggies…I basically just ate the toppings, the best part!

What kind of party would it be without cake??

Today

Today started out bright and early….with a headache.  For me, waking up with a headache is one of the most draining things.  I ate a little bit, drank some water, and was out the door by 5:30am to teach Yoga Sculpt.

After teaching, I quickly came home, showered, got ready, and made myself a blueberry smoothie to-go so that I could make my date at the auto shop to have my car diagnosed (she has been sick for a while), and then run a couple of errands.

After getting my car looked at, I headed to the store to pick up  some boxes.  Brian and I are moving next weekend, but have NOTHING to put all of our stuff in…and believe me, we have A LOT of stuff.  Luckily, the guys at Walmart in the meat department were kind enough to offer me all of this:

There are like 12 huge boxes there!  I hope it’s enough.

I then headed to pick up some ingredients for a special project that I am working on.  Because of the headache, I am going to forego my scheduled run for the day, and save my energy for Body Pump team teaching tonight.  Instead of running miles, I am going to get a head start in the kitchen on this super fun and special project!  I can’t wait to share it with you 🙂

  1. Looking forward to seeing what your project is! 🙂 We are moving this summer and as much as I am looking forward to it, it’s going to be a BIG task. How far from your current house are you moving?
