Baking Christmas cookies is an event in my family. Β We bake for the sake of baking and always end up with trays beyond trays of delicious and pretty cookies that we end up giving to friends, family, neighbors, and anyone who looks like they could use a good cookie πŸ™‚

Of course we have our family favorites that we make every year, but sometimes it’s fun to throw in some newbies.

This weekend, Brenna (my sister) and I are starting our holiday bake off and I was hoping to throw in one new-to-me cookie recipe that is a little bit healthier. Β I’m all about indulging every once in a while, but if I can find a cookie that tastes great and is healthier than normal then I will most certainly add it to my baking list.

Here are some cookie contenders:

  2. Those PB Christmas Cookies look amazing, yum!! My favorite x-mas cookie is the classic PB Blossom. I’ve tried making a healthified version & put it on my blog last year, but it’s not quite the same as the original. πŸ˜‰

  3. I love substituting coconut oil in place of butter in cookie recipes and adding dark chocolate chips instead of regular ones. And you look adorable as always πŸ™‚
