I’m always looking for ways to pack more nutrition into my day–especially when I’m busy! While I love eating lots of fruits and veggies to get my daily fill of vitamins, minerals, and fiber sometimes I need a little extra boost for those times when I don’t have the chance to grocery shop and stock up on fresh foods or to prep all my food for healthy meals for the week. A few weeks ago, the kind people from a company called “Skoop” reached out to me asking if I would review one of their products called Skoop A-Game. I had never heard of Skoop before, which makes sense because this is a new company based out of Boulder, CO (<–Colorado!). So, you are probably wondering what Skoop is too! Skoop A-Game is a non-GMO, super-food powdered formula that is rich in antioxidants, adaptogens, and probiotics. There is no dairy, soy, or gluten in this powder (which makes it allergen-free!!) and Skoop recommends using it to fight stress, bad gut bacteria, and inflammation. All of that sounds great, but I wanted to know what was actually IN this powder. This is where it really gets good. The powder is made up of:
Now we’re talking…those are real food ingredients and that makes me very excited 🙂 This isn’t a meal replacement shake, but it’s the perfect add-in to oats, smoothies, or just plain almond milk to get an extra punch of nutrients into my day…which can be very helpful during busy times in my life (like now!) Something else cool? 10% of the profit made from each bag is donated to a national nonprofit that provides fresh produce to schools. Love that! So, the folks at scoop sent me a large bag of the Skoop A-Game in Sweetgreens and some smaller packets of Chocofresh which has a slight cocoa flavor. Skoop recommended simply mixing a scoop of Skoop into a cup of almond milk… And it tasted pretty good! I’m not going to lie and say it was AMAZING…it did taste a little “green” but knowing that I was putting all of these veggies, herbs, fruits, and greens into my body made the flavor worth it. The way that I enjoyed my Skoop most was in my morning oatmeal with blueberries and bananas. While it didn’t look very appetizing (think GREEN oatmeal!) it did have a pleasant sweet flavor because the Skoop is slightly sweet due to the honey, agave, goji, and blueberries. Now for the FUN part–Skoop and I are giving away a bag of Skoop A-Game to ONE Treble in the Kitchen Reader to try for themselves!

I can’t wait to see how you add healthyskoop into your diet! I’ll have to try some of the protein too. Always looking for a tasty plant protein!
I like to keep fresh fruits and vegetables on hand for easy snacks!
Perfect breakfast option to drink up during my drive to work!
The Healthy Skoop sounds like a great way to get a quick and easy boost of nutrients. I typically go to smoothies. They are fairly fast and I can dump in a bunch of whatever fruits/veggies/greens I have on hand.
I love using Swiss chard leaves for wraps in place of bread.
I usually add spirulina to my water and try to keep dried fruits and veggie snacks on me like dry-roasted edamame or chickpeas or dried, no-sugar added pineapple.
I just snack on lots of veggies!
Food prep is always my friend. I love throwing together big salads with lots of veggies and grilled chicken, tofu, or tuna!
smoothie or quinoa dish
I’m all about veggie smoothies when busy. Greens, celery, cucumber, a fruit of some sort, and typically protein powder and chia or coconut oil.
My favorite way to sneak in nutrients when I’m busy is by putting them in my food. I have to pack my lunch for work and I also do a lot of meal prepping so I pack them in to whatever I’m making. I make a lot of stir fry, healthy casseroles, and salads chock full of veggies.
Smoothies! Super fast and you can get a solid serving of fruits, vegetables and protein all at once.
I try to pack raw veggies in my lunches to snack on throughout the day instead of poor choices. I also load my smoothies with greens to get that extra kick!
Green smoothies or a bottled green juice in a pinch.
i love adding tons of vegetables to my eggs for extra nutrients 🙂
Sounds great! Would love to try this in oatmeal!
I love smoothies in a pinch! or some granola 🙂
This would be a great product to change up my breakfast routine!
I love to make smoothies with spinach and chia seeds to get some extra nutrients.
I love that it comes in smaller packets for easy on the go meal/snack…as I think I’ll be needing those even more soon 😉
The easiest way for me to get extra nutrients in when I’m busy and on the go is to whip up a quick smoothie, which I usually have everything on hand for. I like to toss in some frozen fruit, a big handful of kale or spinach, chia seeds, cacao powder, maybe a little peanut butter & almond milk. Would love to try Skoop in my smoothies or oatmeal (love that ingredient list)!
