This weekend was completely full of wedding t0-dos and I absolutely loved it!

My mom was able to come to our new apartment for the first time, and she was able to spend all of Friday night and Saturday with Brian and me.

brian and taraWe spent the weekend finalizing wedding stationary and putting together a special craft for the wedding reception.  Boy, did I feel like one lucky girl this weekend!  Not only did I have the help of my mom at the craft store, but Brian came along and did not complain once about having to shop for scrapbook paper, baskets, glue, or ribbon.

I think I have a winner 🙂

Sunday

Yesterday, Brian and I attended a church service, cleaned up the house after all of the wedding decorating, and did all of the grocery shopping and food prepping for the week.

The weather here in Indiana was extremely beautiful yesterday…it was in the 60s!! Even though I typically take Sundays off, I felt like I couldn’t NOT take advantage of the warm weather, so I headed out for a short, non-timed, no distance tracked run.

While I was running, Brian started painting the desk we have in our spare bedroom.  I can’t wait to see the finished product!
