Yum

Good morning!

Brian and I are slowly but surely clearing out the fridge, so last night’s meal was another non-typical dinner comprised of scrambled egg and egg whites combined with broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, and topped with salsa.

Although the meal was random, it did the job and filled me up!

Packing

I needed the extra fuel after work last night, because last night was our big honeymoon packing night.  Essentially, some of the packing was already done because I had tossed a bunch of items that I was planning on taking with me into my suitcase a while ago, but nothing was folded and I still needed to compare what was in my bag to my actual check-list.

Brian and I were able to successfully pack for our 10 day Italian honeymoon adventure in 1 suitcase/backpack each….!!! Now, don’t let me fool you, because I really am not that good.  I typically take more than this home to my parent’s for a weekend, but when there is an absolute need to downsize the amount of items I bring on a trip I can make the adjustment.

Here are some of the helpful web sites that I used to get ideas for packing smart and light:

  1. Roll clothes! It saves so much space! I went to Alaska for two weeks with just a carry-on and my laptop bag. One of the ladies on the trip told me that if I roll my clothes and put them in a large Ziplock bag with the air sucked out, I’d save even more space. She was right! Have a great trip and congratulations!

  2. First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!! So happy for you and Brian!

I love Italy, whereabouts are you going? 🙂 Also, if you haven’t checked it out yet, wikitravel.org is awesome for finding all the best things to see/do.
