I have never labeled myself as a big-time snacker, but I appreciate having convenient, healthy snack options on hand for those moments when hunger strikes.  On the other hand, Brian enjoys having snacky-type foods packed in his lunches and ready to eat within an arms reach for an afternoon pick-me-up.  When NatureBox paired up with POPSUGAR and was looking for people to test out their snack delivery service it was a no-brainer for me to give it a try!

POPSUGAR Must Have Mix

I really enjoyed this trail mix, as I honestly really enjoy just about any trail mix.  For me, trail mix is one of those dangerous foods that I just can’t stop eating!

This trail mix is slightly sweet and not too salty with lots of crunch.  My favorite part are some little sesame rice stick things and of course the almonds 🙂

Dried California Peaches

I have always been a huge dried fruit fan, and often eat it in the evening as a sweet treat.  These peach rings were HUGE and delicious.  I restrained myself from eating too many though, because I want to give them a try in my 3 Ingredient Energy Bars in place of the apricots.

Blueberry Almond Bites

I am a sucker for anything blueberry flavored…these bites included.  They were light, crisp and kind of tasted like a blueberry cereal.  I ate them plain, but I think they would taste fabulous over Greek yogurt or a bowl of oats.

Seaweed Rice Pops

Salty fans…this is your snack! These were crunchy, salty, and would be a great addition to a homemade trail mix 🙂

Lemon Pucker Pistachios

Pistachios are one of those foods that I LOVE but never purchase for myself.  No particular reason why…I just don’t, so when I saw these were included in my snack box I was super excited.  The lemony flavor is really yummy and if you are like me and enjoy sucking on the shell of a pistachio then these lemony nuts are a real treat 🙂

Overall, I think this service is a really fun way to try new, healthy foods that I may not pick out on my own.  It’s convenient, and the price isn’t too over the top considering how many goodies you get.

Will I purchase a subscription of my own?  Probably not right now.  While Brian enjoys having snacks on hand, it usually takes us a while to get through our snack bags because it is just the two of us and I can see us getting overwhelmed with snack bags each month and potentially having to throw some food away.  And I’m definitely not a fan of throwing away food.
