Today is going to be a very busy and exciting day, so I wanted to make sure that it started out with a killer breakfast.  And it did!

My morning meal consisted of a giant yogurt, fruit, and granola bowl.

The exact contents in my bowl are:

Workout

Like most Saturdays, I will be teaching Bodypump.  Sometimes, it is a bit hard to structure my day around teaching this Saturday class, but one of the things that I love about teaching a Saturday class is that I can’t just not show up and take the weekend off…I have to be there for my participants.  They motivate me, and hopefully I motivate them! It’s a win win.

Wedding

After teaching Bodypump and showering up, Brian and I are going to be checking a pretty fun thing off of our wedding to-do list.  Today, we will be creating our gift registry!

Brian and I are both “list” people and truly enjoy being organized and having a process for doing things, so when I told him earlier this week that we needed to create a list of items to take to the store with us so we can check off the items we register for and mark which store we registered at he told me that he already had his dad working on the task for us!  Great minds think alike 😉

gift registry list 1We will definitely check out Macy’s and Crate & Barrel today, but Bed Bath and Beyond is just a maybe.  Nothing against Bed Bath and Beyond, we just want to see what we are able to find at the other two stores first!

gift registry list 2Although registering for our wedding gifts seems like a ton of fun…it also seems a bit intimidating.   We don’t want to seem like we are asking for too much and there are so many questions!  Are the guides that recommend the number of “big ticket” items and less expensive items to register for based on the number of guests accurate…do people even look at the registry?!

Wish us luck!

Question of the Morning:

  • What advice do you have for a couple registering for their wedding gifts?

  1. I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme.
Did you design this website yourself or did you hire
someone to do it for you? Plz respond as I’m looking
to construct my own blog and would like to know where u got this from.
    many thanks

    • It was such a fun process, but extremely overwhelming at first. We are going to have to go back to get some things we weren’t ready to decide on !!

  2. We looked through all of our stuff before we got married (dishes, home accessories, etc) and so we realized that we didn’t REALLY need new place settings or silverware. Looking back, it would be kind of nice to have matching settings for guests, but it’s not the end of the world! REGISTER FOR TOWELS! Lots of them! We failed to do this, so that was one of our Christmas gifts’- a nice towel set (for us and for guests). We were a bit embarrassed by our dingy, worn out towels when guests came to stay. Now they can be dry in style 😉

    • Thank you for the advice!! Who would think to register for towels? My fiance and I love hosting people, so we plan on having lots of guests and we want to be proud of our towels 🙂
