This weekend was like a refreshing reset!  I feel as if I was able to get everything MOST things in order in regards to the blog, the wedding, and just getting everything prepped for the week.

I was even able to squeeze in a 3 mile run on Saturday:

and a 4 mile run on Sunday:

The sun was shining, but despite the cold weather my legs and body were feeling good!

I had some bananas that were pretty much near death, so I did a little experimenting in the kitchen.

dead bananas

Remember when I made some banana oat breakfast cakes that looked appetizing, but didn’t quite turn out the way I had planned and I promised you all that I would try again so that I could share the recipe?

Well, I used one of those “near death” bananas pictured above to attempt to REmake the recipe…and they still didn’t turn out quite right.

I am going to guess that these cakes didn’t turn out because I put a tad bit too much stevia in them….and because I forgot to set the time while baking them.  Oops!  I guess I’ll have to try again some other time 🙂

Wedding

I spent a lot of time this weekend working on filling out wedding spreadsheets for our day of timeline, wedding weekend timeline, important people contact info, and vendor contact info.

I downloaded free spreadsheets from A Practical Wedding to use as a guide, and I could not give these guides a higher recommendation!

A Practical Wedding Spreadsheet

Info above is from the sample spreadsheet

They are organized and make it easy to input your own information so that it is simple for anyone to understand what is going on when, what items are needed, how those items are arriving, etc…

Thank you to the people at A Practical Wedding for creating such an awesome FREE tool 🙂

I hope you all are having a great Monday!
