Hey friends!

I hope your weekend was fantastic 🙂  I feel like I was able to get lots of studying AND have a little fun too, which is always a good thing.

Saturday morning started out with a nice fall run.  I was pretty pleased with myself because I ran the same distance that I ran on Thursday and I was able to shave 20 seconds off per minute!  Woo!

After my run, Brian and I headed out to a local Denver coffee shop called Pablo’s Coffee.

The line was literally out the door, and when I mentioned something to the gentleman helping us out (who was super friendly) he said that they were actually slow compared to normal Saturdays.  I guess you know a place is good when a line out the door is a normal thing!

The coffee was great, but I’m going to have to say that the company was better 🙂  Brian and I met up with Marisa (from Uproot From Oregon) and her boyfriend Noah.

We just talked and talked and talked! It was so great 🙂  I’m happy we got together and can’t wait to do it again!

And just in case you were wondering, I enjoyed an almond milk latte (shocker…)

While Brian enjoyed a vanilla latte with a delicious breakfast burrito (I just had to have a bite!)

Today, we spent our morning shopping around Denver.

We didn’t make too many purchases since we are on a pretty tight budget, but I found some super cute cupcake wrappers at Sur La Table for $5!  I couldn’t resist 🙂

Eats have been kind of random today and this weekend, but one thing I did really really enjoy was a super thick strawberry smoothie topped with some Love Grown Foods Oat Clusters Granola.  Yum!!

They actually JUST sent me a LOVE DROP to welcome me to their team of blogging ambassadors.

Power O’s

These little Power O’s are super cool.  It is cereal made with beans (!!) and brown rice, but you totally cannot tell.  I tried the honey kind and they taste just like honey nut cheerios.  Seriously, they are so good!  The thing is, they sent me QUITE a few of these little boxes and Brian and I don’t really eat that much cereal…so I am going to share the LOVE with all of you!
