Description

Date Caramel Dip is made from just a few simple ingredients and is perfectly sweet (with zero added sugar!). We love adding this to snack boards, dipping pretzels in it, and spreading it on fruit.

Ingredients

Scale

20 pitted dates

¼ cup water (start here then add more as needed)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Pinch salt

Instructions

Allow dates to soak in warm water for about 20 minutes.

Drain the dates from the water and dump the soaked and pitted dates into a food processor.

Add ¼ cup of water, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to the soaked dates in the food processor.

Process the mixture until combined and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides and add more water as needed.  The end result will be a creamy, smooth caramel-like dip.

Enjoy immediately with sliced fruit, or store in the fridge in an airtight container for 5-7 days.
