I changed up the usual red salsa for a combination of sweet, savory, and green with kiwi. This fresh and vibrant dish has lots of flavor, is not too spicy and is perfect for sharing with a crowd. 



5 kiwi, peeled and diced

2 scallions, chopped

¼ cup red onion

1 garlic clove, minced

1 jalapeno, thinly sliced

¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped

½ cup green tomato, chopped

2 tablespoons canola oil

½ teaspoon kosher salt


  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients (kiwi, scallions, red onion, garlic, jalapeno, bell pepper, tomato, canola oil and kosher salt). Stir to combine and adjust seasoning to taste. 
  2. This would taste great with any taco dish or over your favorite protein. 


Store in an airtight container in the fridge for five to seven days.
