Merry Christmas eve EVE!!

This weekend has been full of everything holiday as if my weekends before this weekend WEREN’T full of holiday…

Breakfast this morning was a big batch of oats full of pumpkin, silk coconut milk nog, egg whites, some natural peanut butter, and about a third of a banana.  Yummy and filling.

On the side I enjoyed a delicious cup of my eggnog iced coffee.  It’s so tasty and a great excuse to have a splash of eggnog in the morning 🙂

Friday was the end of a very long work week for me, but luckily Brian and I had fun plans for me to look forward to.  Tori and Kegan invited a bunch of our friends over for a pre-holiday dinner and get together.  It was really the first “adult” Christmas party with friends I have ever been to.

It wasn’t too bad! 😉

Kegan cooked up some pork from his families farm, I brought my Winter Squash Salad, there were cookies, shrimp, and pigs in a blanket.  What a spread!

We also made sure to have plenty of wine on hand…

We spent the night chatting, laughing, and playing games.  It was great and a much needed night of relaxation with friends.

Yesterday, all I wanted to do was sit in my pajamas.  So, after teaching my Saturday Body Pump class, I showered up to put my pajamas right back on.

I then spent the day working on the finishing touches to some Christmas gifts, wrapping gifts, and watching Christmas movies. It was awesome!

I don’t take days like that often enough.

Think we need a bigger tree??

I hope you are all having a great time getting ready for the holiday!
