Do you ever have those days at work when you just kind of feel bored?   It’s not due to the fact that there is nothing to do, but for some reason there is no motivation to check everything off of the to-do list.

Well, yesterday was one of those days for me.

Luckily, it started out with a morning appointment with a client.  I love morning appointments because that means that I can offer to bring my client his or her favorite Starbucks drink…which means I get to have a Starbucks drink 😉

Yesterday morning I tried a drink that I had not had in nearly a year!  Nonfat Vanilla Rooibus Tea Latte. Wow, was this good!  I am definitely not going to wait an entire year to have another one of those babies.

Vanilla RooibusI then spent the rest of the morning putting together a fun project for today.  One of the hotels that I work at will be hosting a trail mix bar as a “mid-morning snack” and I can’t wait to execute this.

Candy JarsI filled these cute candy jars with almonds, peanuts, m&ms, raisins, granola, and peanut butter chips.  I don’t know what the people attending this mid-morning snack will think, but all I want to do is dig in and make myself a little bowl of trail mix!  It sounds so tasty 🙂

So, even though all I wanted to do yesterday was pin away on Pinterest I did manage to finish the things that needed to get done.

Let’s hope that today I feel a little bit more motivated!

  2. I have been feeling the EXACT same way at work lately..crazy! I have things to do, but I’m not overly busy so I’m just kind of sliding by.
