Growing up, Sundays were always the day to be productive.  It was the day that we did homework, the day that we cleaned the house, and the day that we used to prepare for the rest of the week.  If things go right on Sunday then Monday should be smooth sailing.

Since I have been home these past couple of weeks, things have been a little less than productive and a little more sporadic and indulgent than I would prefer.  I am not going to feel guilty about any of it because I have been spending time with family and friends that I haven’t been able to see for the past five months, but there is a need for balance with fun and productivity.  So, today I am going to get everything in order.  I am going to plan my meals for the week, grocery shop, get my budget plan set, and get everything set up so that tomorrow I can make my full-time job finding a job.

I am a planner by nature, so I feel so much better after I write things down and make a list.  But lately, I feel like I have been making lists for my lists and not getting anything done!  So, instead of freaking out I need to take all of these lists, consolidate them into one list of things that are truly important.

Breakfast

I started my productive Sunday with a delicious, wholesome, and healthy bowl of oats, apples, blackberries, and a little bit of my favorite Krema peanut butter.

I swear there are oats under there somewhere!

St. Patrick’s Day Festivities

Even though I have been more indulgent than I usually prefer, that does not mean that I haven’t been enjoying myself!  Here is a little recap of our activities to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Caitlin cleaned the grill so they could grill some brats for lunch:

St. Patrick’s Day was spent with great friends!  Truly the Irish way 😉

Happy Sunday!  I hope that it is productive and relaxing for you!
