I’m so glad you are liking my Sweet Potato Chipotle Soup from Monday 🙂 It’s seriously simple (hence the title) and I’d love to hear if you give it a try!
Before I get to the awesome workout I want to share, I wanted to give a shoutout to one of my friends!
My friend, Isaac from college at Butler University, is actually working to create his own startup company called CartLess! CartLess is a grocery shopping app/website that will allow you to order groceries from your favorite grocery stores online at no extra charge.
CartLess will allow you to create and save grocery lists based on recipes you want to use in your weekly meal plan (which you can find right on the app/website!), but one of the biggest features is the ability to save and receive coupons from local grocers.
Grocers, with permission from the individual consumer, can directly contact you with coupons and other deals based on what you save in your shopping lists, what recipes you like and what you have purchased in the past.
To help him really START the business, he is launching a campaign TODAY through something called Kickstarter, which is a way for startup companies to fund their amazing ideas and bring their projects to life. We would really appreciate if you could share the love and hop on over to the CartLess Kickstarter Campaign Page to help him out 🙂 And share this with any family/friends that my want to support too!
Thanks for letting me share that with you all! I just love when people have an idea and run with it, and since this idea is something that I may actually use someday (despite my love for the grocery store…some weeks I just lack TIME!) I thought I had to share!
Now about that workout…
So I’ve mentioned this before and I’ll mention it again, when it comes to working out I LOVE switching things up. Not only do I love switching things up, but it’s actually better for your body that way. Kind of the same way that it’s good for your body to eat lots of different foods. Same idea! It will help your muscles recover so that you can get stronger and continue to move for longer!
Last week, I subbed an indoor cycling class for a friend and absolutely LOVED it. I had forgotten how much I really love the spin bike, and actually made a point of taking her class this week!
Because I loved teaching the cycle class so much, I thought I should probably share the workout with you.
It’s only 30 minutes, but definitely gets the heart rate up and give you a good workout in that short amount of time. I used the tabata timing for sprint intervals and set this workout to 7 songs (including warm up and cool down). I think you could totally do the same if you just plug in your headphones and follow the cues I have laid out for you:
Here are a couple of notes:
Let me know if you try it out!! It’s a great one to pin for one of those days when you aren’t quite sure what to do in the gym 😉
Have a great day!
