Yesterday, I received a text from my future father-in-law saying “You received a 10lb box of tomato sauce in the mail.”  I couldn’t help but laugh to myself as I read the message, and as soon as I walked in the door, sure enough, there was a giant box of Tuttorosso Tomatoes sitting on the counter waiting for me.

You may remember me hosting a contest for one of you to receive this exact same box last week… Megan Shank still needs to send me a message, so if you know her, let her know that she is the winner!

The goody box included three large cans of tomatoes and tomato sauce with some other treats mixed in.

I received three recipe cards that highlight the tomatoes as a feature ingredient.

There was a cute little hot mit in the bag.

And a coozy!

Thanks Tuttorosso Tomatoes!  I can’t wait to give these products a try 🙂

I then spent the evening getting my recipes together for Thanksgiving day and doing a little bit of food prep for things that can stay in the fridge for a few days.

This year, I am in charge of making my dad’s famous Thanksgiving rolls (wish me luck, it’s my first time making them!), cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie.  I can’t wait!

Breakfast this morning was a delicious Greek yogurt and fruit bowl topped with 2 tsp of peanut butter and a dash of cinnamon.  What a way to start the day!

After teaching my Saturday Body Pump class and showering 😉 I will then be heading to the Greenwood Crafts and Gifts Show at Greenwood high school to visit Brian’s Aunt Erin.  She has been working away to make Colt’s Football themed goodies for this event, and I can’t wait to see the display and all of the other booths!

Have a great Saturday!
