This morning, Brian, Mom and I went to Zumba.  My mom goes to class every Saturday at K. Monique’s Studio and I love going with her whenever I visit, but Brian has never gone.  It took a little convincing to get him to the class this morning, but after the music was turned up to the maximum volume and the entire room started dancing along with the energetic and soulful instructor he was so glad that he came!

He actually said that he wants to go to Zumba every time we visit!! It was a great way to start the day.

We then came home and showered up getting ready for the day and had delicious salads with spinach, romaine lettuce, celery, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, hummus, tuna, and cottage cheese.  The perfect refuel after a sweaty dance class.

Then, it was time for more puppy shopping.  We went to another local shelter.  Upon arrival, we searched through the Dog Profile booklet to pick which pups we wanted to meet.  There was a dog named Rhianna that Brian and I instantly fell in love with based on her profile.

Mom’s favorites were a little Shepherd/Bulldog mix named Gypsey

And a little puppy named Patty

But, not only did Brian and I love Rhianna because of her name and profile…she was the cutest little dog in person as well!! Too bad we couldn’t take her with us 🙁

We then came home, and napped a bit, went through some things that I have been storing in my parent’s garage and then ate some of my mom’s Thai Chicken for 2, but with scallops instead of chicken.  It was delicious!

Now, we are about to watch the movie Contagion.  Looks like it should be a good one!!
