This week has kind of felt like a whirlwind because I feel like I was trying to fit 5 days of work into 3 days so that I could work longer hours yesterday and most importantly because my mom is coming to visit…TODAY!
A new recipe I just perfected…Butternut Squash Vegetarian Chili. It’s so good and I can’t wait to share the recipe with you!
Sweet potato soup. Seriously the easiest thing ever! Just sweet potatoes, vegetable broth, and almond milk with a little chipotle, salt, and pepper 🙂 So fally tasting!

Our first rehearsal for Holiday Party Singers is this coming Monday, so in my spare time when I’m not studying, creating a workout, cooking, or hanging out with Brian I have holiday tunes on the brain.
Kitchen success! I feel like recently I’ve had a lot of success in the kitchen, which is always a good feeling. I’m loving the new season and palette of ingredients I can work with, so I’m just kind of going with it!
Halloween! I was kind of worried Brian and I wouldn’t have any plans, but he just told me that we are invited to a friend’s Halloween party…now we kind of need to scramble for costume ideas! Suggestions anyone!?
