This weekend (and week!) was pretty full of intense workouts, so I wanted to lay low and relax when I could.  Add a little rain into the mix, and making fall crafts sounded like the perfect relaxing, fall, fun thing to do!

Saturday night Taryn, one of my bridesmaids, came over for a yummy dinner (sorry no pics!) and Pinterest crafting!

I saw this wreath on Pinterest and absolutely fell in love with it!

It is called “The Easiest Fall Burlap Wreath.” The “Easiest?”  Surely I could make that….right?

I have to be honest, Brian definitely saved this Pinterest craft a couple of times…

For some reason, Taryn and I both had issues figuring out how to loop the burlap through the wreath holder, but once we got going (and Brian figured out the pattern!) we were cruising!

We are both so happy with how our little wreaths turned out.

One of the best things about the wreath, is that the flowers are removable so we can use this same wreath for multiple seasons!

It was so fun to work on together, and now we are kind of itching to find a winter holiday craft to complete together.   Thank goodness for Pinterest!

Question of the Morning:

  • Have you ever made a craft from Pinterest?  Did it turn out?

  1. Last year I made a burlap wreath I found on Pinterest and it hasn’t come down from our front door! I love it! I change out the ribbon to make it festive to whatever season it is.

    • Just make sure the craft you pick ACTUALLY has directions on Pinterest. There were quite a few that didn’t link to directions like I thought!
