Good morning!

I hope your Saturday is off to a great start šŸ™‚

My weekend full of productivity and knocking things off of the wedding and blogging to-do lists is off to a great start.

Last night I picked out my “something borrowed” from the jeweler. Ā Can you guess which set of earrings I picked?

Something BorrowedDon’t worry, you will find out soon enough!

Workout

Saturdays I typically teach Bodypump, but I found out last weekend that my class was canceled this weekend because of the high traffic downtown due to the Race for the Cure. Ā There are over 20,000 participants this year! Ā I wish I had known sooner about not having my class commitment so I could have participated, but now I will know for next time šŸ˜‰

Instead of participating, I did my own 3 mile jog in the surprisingly cold April weather. Ā It was in the 30s here in Indy this morning, so I bundled up, laced up my shoes and hit the pavement.

run 4-20Considering I have been wearing shorts for my outdoor runs recently, I honestly thought I was done bundling until winter. Ā Guess I was wrong!

It was a chilly and quick three miles, but felt good all the same.

Breakfast

After stretching and showering, I was more than a little hungry and despite the freezing temps outside, I opted for a yummy smoothie this morning.

breakfast 4-20

Here is what was in my cup:

  • 2/3 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tsp instant coffee (gotta have my morning jolt!)
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 huge handful of spinach
  • 1 packet of stevia

Yum if Ā you ask me!

Now, off to tackle those to-do lists!

Happy Saturday!
