It’s Monday and I just have a feeling that this is going to be a GREAT week!

I have checked the Indiana weather forecast and it looks like we will be having some temps in the 60s these next couple of days…thank goodness!  I am ready for some sun and warmth 🙂

This will be a busy week, as I have late nights at work most nights this week, BUT it will go fast because Saturday Brian and I are heading to Florida with some friends for a little spring break vacation…seriously I can’t wait!

Here is a peak at our weekend:

Friday

Friday evening, I receive an exciting e-mail that I had been hoping to receive for quite some time.

I am officially a Fitfluential Ambassador!  Fitfluential is an online community of health and fitness lovers.  It’s a way to connect healthy living and social media to share healthy living with the world 🙂 I’m very excited to be part of this inspiring group of heath fanatics.

Once Brian and I got home from work, we headed out to run some errands and do some shopping.  When we got home, we decided to have a little game and wine night with each other.

It was late, so we played a couple of rounds of good old fashioned speed.  Remember that game?  We played 3 rounds, and I won all 3 rounds 🙂

Saturday

Saturday morning, I woke up early to meet up with a running group for a 6 mile run.  I am REALLY loving getting these runs in early on Saturdays.  Such a good way to start my day.

After my run, I enjoyed a nourishing breakfast of eggs scrambled with broccoli and peppers with a side of bananas and blueberries topped with some macadamia cashew butter.  Totally hit the spot.

After a super productive morning, I was in the mood to bake and we had some extra carrots on hand so I whipped up a batch of Peanut Butter Runner’s Carrot Cake Cookies to take to Brian’s parent’s house.  These were so yummy!

After hanging with Brian’s parents and heading to church, Brian and I met up with some friends for a couple of glasses of wine.  Such a great night!

Sunday

Sunday was spent doing lots of food prep…

We also worked completed our taxes (woo!), and cleaned up the house so we could have everything looking pretty while we are on vacation next week.  Nothing beats going on vacation and coming back to a sparkling clean home.

For dinner last night, we enjoyed sauteed peppers, broccoli, and zucchini with shrimp with (cauliflower) rice on the side.  Simple and tasty.

That’s all!
