This morning, I woke up with a headache and a hungry tummy…not a winning combo for starting the day off on the right foot!  I knew I needed a little something more than a smoothie bowl to tide me over because for whatever reason, when I wake up with a headache I feel like I have to eat constantly throughout the day.  I had overnight oats in a jar!

In these overnight oats in a jar:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut butter (from the bottom of the jar)
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 splenda packet
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
Simply mix it all together and stick it in the fridge over night…now that’s what I call simplicity at it’s finest!  I added a chopped up frozen banana to the top this morning.
It was delicious and thick.  If you like thinner or creamier oats play around with the amount of almond milk and Greek yogurt that you add in there.
Today, I am nannying like usual and teaching class like usual.  I have to fit a 4 mile run in today, and since I can’t do it in the morning I am going to give it a shot tonight around 9pm.  I am usually not a night runner, so this could be interesting!
Bachelorette Talk
So, I know I told you I was totally rooting for JP…and I was, but I have to admit that last night my feelings changed about mid way through the show and it seemed like Ben was going to be the one.  I think it was when the sister didn’t think JP and Ashley were perfect together, and it was how goofy Ben and Ashley were together…they were sooo cute!  I am really happy that JP and Ashley seem to be happy (I hope it works out!), but I felt sooo heart broken for Ben.
Any thoughts about the Bachelorette?
