This weekend was go-go-go for Brian and me but it was so full of close family, friends, and a lots of love that we didn’t mind the busyness one bit!
The busy weekend started by driving up to Michigan on Friday after work for a family reunion with my mom’s side of the family. Last time Brian and I went to this reunion, we were recently engaged!
We made Norwegian Heart Baskets to put on a Christmas tree or use as a cute decoration.
We played lots of cards.
We participated in the tradition of the family auction.
And we thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company!
After the reunion festivities were complete, Brian and I made a pit-stop in Fort Wayne on our drive home from Indianapolis. We stopped to attend Chelsea, one of my bridesmaids, baby gender reveal party!
We had to dress in either blue or pink to show what gender WE thought the baby would be. Chelsea, the mommy-to-be, predicted a baby boy. Brian and I were on team pink 😉
Every little detail of the party was absolutely perfect and adorable!
After enjoying each other’s company and some snacks, it was time to find out if Chelsea and Nate were having a boy or girl. We were each given a can of silly string with a gray label so we had no idea what color the silly string would be. On the count of three Chelsea and Nate turned around and we sprayed them with the silly string to announce what gender baby they were having.
Congrats Chelsea and Nate on your little baby boy!!!!! We can’t wait to meet him 🙂
This weekend was overflowing with love and fun….and it was absolutely amazing.

It was my first gender reveal too. I had seen some on Pinterest, but I wasn’t sure how one would actually play out. It was so fun and special to be there!
Thanks for reading the blog! Yay for Indiana girls 🙂
