Happy April Fool’s Day and happy first day of the best month ever!

That’s right, April is probably my favorite month for many reasons…

#1 It’s my birth month!

#2 Spring FINALLY starts to show up and stay around for a while…although there are quite a few rain showers, more sun and a little warmth always makes me a happy girl.

Yesterday, I ended March with an amazing breakfast including this stellar fruit.  Any guesses as to what it could be?

It’s a papaya!!

It was so juicy and absolutely delicious when combined with my frozen banana.  I enjoyed my little fruit bowl on the side of a delicious egg white, spinach, and butternut scramble.

Lunch was a big salad of romaine and spinach with tomato, yellow bell pepper, dijon, and tuna salad with a side of endurance crackers.

And an apple for a sweet ending.

When I got home I had a couple of surprises waiting for me!

• The Fire Starter Sessions (this is a motivational book that seems completely inspiring and just what I need right now.  I heard about the book through Jen at Peanut Butter Runner and can’t wait to dig into it!)
• Nuttzo!!  Normally, this nut butter is a pretty penny (around $15/jar), BUT they have a sale going on right now where jars are only $5 each!  Don’t worry, the sale is still going on, so if you are thinking of trying this fabulous stuff out now is a GREAT time!

When I got home from the gym, I also had a fun e-mail from ShopStyle congratulating me for being chosen as a featured editor 🙂
