Happy Friday!


There are some weeks when I feel like Friday couldn’t get here soon enough, and this is one of those weeks.  I am very happy that the weekend is just around the corner. 


As for plans this weekend, Brian and I are looking at a pretty chill weekend.  Thank goodness!  Our summer was very pre-programmed with weddings, wedding events, trips out of town, and everything in-between.  It is nice to not have plans and just hang out sometimes.


This week the weather has been cooler and I have been totally loving the fall crispness.  The change in weather inspired me to share other things that I have been loving lately with you too!

What I Have Been Loving Lately

1.  Pumpkin everything

My favorite breakfast as of lately has been pumpkin overnight oats.
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin
  • 3 oz plain, nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1-2 packets stevia
  • a dash of nutmeg
  • a dash of cinnamon
  • sometimes I stir in 1 tsp Peanut Butter & Co cinnamon raisin swirl
  • Top with 1/3 banana and 1 tsp -1 Tbsp nut butter of choice!


2.  Tabata Intervals on the Treadmill

I used to absolutely despise the treadmill, now it is tolerable.  I absolutely love doing the sprint interval workouts on the treadmill because they make the time go by so fast and they really challenge me!

3.  My new bigger planner

I am obsessed with planners and schedules.   Kate, Brian’s mom got me this planner since we are getting pretty close to wedding time.  She thought that I would need the extra space for notes and lists that a large planner has.  It has been awesome so far!

4.  Getting to spend two weekends with my mom this month!

Last weekend, we had wedding dress shopping and next weekend we are completing a half marathon together!  Just can’t get enough of her 🙂

5.  Jillian Michael’s Podcasts

I honestly never used to be a Jillian fan, but recently my mom has been listening to these podcasts while she works.  One of the topics Jillian spoke about was pretty relevant to my life at the time.  My mom sent it to me to listen to for advice and I have been hooked ever since!

The podcasts really allow the listener to see her personality, hear how she struggles, hear how she has coped with similar issues, and it allows the listener to hear all of the goofy things she has to add in between 🙂


So, there it is, my top 5 favorites. Ok, so clearly there are more things that I am loving right now, but I could probably go on forever.
