This smoothie is by far one of my favorite recipes in my book, The 14 Day Elimination Diet (that being said, I have quite a few favorites in this book!).

It comes together so simply and is filled with nutrient-dense food like kiwi, mango, banana, hemp, and flax seeds.

Description

The combination of kiwi, mango and banana will make you feel like you are sipping this smoothie in warm, sunny weather no matter where you are. Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2  cups rice, hemp, or flax milk (check the ingredient list for any potential ingredients not allowed during the elimination period)

1 frozen banana

1 cup frozen mango

1 kiwi, peeled

2 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 tablespoon flax meal

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

Pinch ground black pepper

1 teaspoon maple syrup or agave, optional

Handful of baby kale


Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Serve immediately.
